Either delete this file (it will be replaced the next time you start up steam) or rename it. Also, select WinXP service pack 2.ģ) Find your steam folder (in the programsx86 folder) Find the file GameOverlayRenderer.dll. Right click game in your library, click properties, and deselect the overlay option.Ģ)Find Gothic2.EXE in your game files, set to run as Administrator. Also note, not all of these steps may be neccesary, but they are what I did.ġ)Turn off steam overlay. These may not work for everyone, but they worked for me and the majority of people who tried it. ![]() Took me forever to find the right fixes because they are just scattered around in different threads, and most people will just tell you to use the patches and mods. If you are like me, and I know I am in the minority, but if you are, you don't like needing a patch or mod made by some random people. It's like the title says, just letting everyone know a quick easy fix to get Gothic 2 Gold to work on steam for windows 10, without having to download community/third party patches and mods.
